This is a great watch about the consequences of lockdowns you may not have considered. There are two sides to every story and major consequences whether you lock down or not. Millions of people will starve due to lockdowns. You have tens of millions of children skipping doses of other vaccines far more important than a covid vaccine, in the developing world. Devastating consequences in the developing world overall. Tens of millions of people thrown into poverty. 1 in 4 young adults have seriously considered suicide during the pandemic, and on and on. I'm not saying I've been against any and all types of shutdowns, but we need to consider the harm done by lockdowns and at least educate ourselves on the subject and understand the consequences.

This is a great watch if you ever doubted how many complete dumbasses there are in the world.
You have found your people. Good job-go to them, they need you.

So you just hand wave away millions of people starving to death and put your fingers in your ears and go "lalala can't hear you", but you get upset when obesity is brought up because it might hurt a few people's feelings? Your priorities seem pretty screwed if you're more concerned about fat people's feelings than millions dying of starvation. It's in the developing world though, so I guess out of sight, out of mind for you, eh? From the UN humanitarian chief themselves https://www.npr.org/sections/coronavirus...d-pandemic
The U.N.'s humanitarian chief has warned that without global cooperation and financial assistance, the number of people dying from hunger or hunger-related diseases could double this year due to the economic fallout of the coronavirus pandemic. "The effect of that is going to be, for the first time in probably in 30 years, a big increase in the number of people in extreme poverty, people living on less than $2 a day," said Mark Lowcock, U.N. Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator. "And as part of that," Lowcock said, "we expect, unfortunately, that there could be a doubling this year in the number of people who are literally starving to death and won't survive unless they get help."
And speaking of covid and obesity, Wired still has this article up on it's website and has still not corrected themselves. https://www.wired.com/story/covid-19-doe...dy-weight/
Yet this rhetoric is based on flawed and limited evidence, which only exacerbates the stigma that larger-bodied people already face in society and our health care system. That stigma is what truly jeopardizes their health, not weight itself—a fact that’s only more important to consider in the midst of this pandemic.
The stigma is what truly jeopardizes their health? What a joke.

It's amazing how low the Covid Quack crowd will go to push their nonsense. As if the problem is lockdowns themselves and not broader social issues there analysis is simplistic and clearly agenda-driven.

People who bring up the "consequences of lockdown " have no real interest in solving the underlying social or political issues that are the actual cause nor do they have interest in how we resolve the problem within a lockdown model (as many pro lockdown experts have tried) in other words they really don't care about the deaths etc it's pure virtue signaling

Hehe. This coming from the guy who applauded the police for getting someone in trouble for playing Pokemon Go alone in an empty parking lot to get out of the house during lockdown and be less depressed probably. Surely you are the one who really cares about depressed people. How do we help depressed people according to you? Get them in trouble with the law for playing Pokemon in a parking lot, because this is the type of thing that society really needs to be worried about, according to the great Helios.
I'm afraid, Helios, that you are suffering from what is called mass formation psychosis. Feel better.

Yes because he absolutely needed to be in that parking lot playing Pokemon GO to deal with depression. And being fine with the police booking a person for being somewhere I feel I shouldn't be means I don't care about depressed people. That makes total sense....
You are suffering from what's called being a total knob .....
And using the rising as a source .....
