There are probably some of you who remember this.

Anywho, I am watching the new Wonder Years where they mention it at the very beginning of the pilot.

Anywho, it just makes one think.

Hong Kong flu.  My sister had it for a week, showed recovery, then died Saturday morning of myocarditis.  She was 11.

My friend Jody lost his father to it.  June 2020, Jody became the first person I knew to die of covid.

I was 2 years old in 1968. Never got into the Wonder Years show.

Oh my gosh. I am so sorry for the losses.

I'd have been 11 in 1968 and I guess I don't remember that flu. Was a little before the time I started reading the paper and watching the news with some regularity.
