Things your family/friends have done you wish.

Things your family/friends have done you wish.
You had done.

For example, my best friend has been to the Cowboy's stadium. Not for a season game, but an off season tour.  I consider that stadium my "North Korea" considering I am a Washington fan. He also got to visit the real land/farm that was depicted in the real night time soap opera "DALLAS".

I am no fan of the Cowboys or that 70s TV show, but he got to visit East Germany before the wall fell. Yes I am being completely sarcastic and metaphorical, but damn.

I would kill to be a Washington fan at the 50 yard line at Dallas and Washington wins that game. But ticket prices, holy crap?

But this isn't just about sports. What have your family, friends or co workers done, that you wish you could do, that they did?

Southfork is less than 5 miles from my house...it's not as impressive as it appeared to be in the show. They do rent it out for a lot of events though.

One of my son's friends visited while he was in military training in Wichita Falls. His mom's from Germany and he said she learned a lot of English by watching 'Dallas'. I took them over there to get some pictures before taking him back to base. That's when I realized just how small it is compared to what I expected.

Back before the Berlin wall fell, my mother and and her teacher mate, took a tour from West Germany into East Germany.  I was a teen at the time, and I won't tell you what I did while she "trusted" me to behave, when she took that trip. I'd love to visit North Korea, without the fear of dying over a poster.

While she spent a day touring the oppressive East Germany, I had a beer party, as to which my "friends" trashed my house, just like any teen movie you can think of.

Ultimately that is the best answer. But there certainly are things in life in general you look at others who do something, and you think you wish you could or could have.
