Just because you're the only person who you know got the verdict right doesn't mean you were the only one to get the verdict right.  That is an error in thinking.

Moreover, ISTR people expressing doubt that Rittenhouse would be convicted.  Even if they got the verdict right for the wrong reason, they still got the verdict right.

I didn't say I was the only person in the world to get it right. What the verdict should be was clear, right after the shooting happened. A massive amount of people shared my opinion. On AF though, people were afraid to be called racists, so they kept their mouths shut, and I was the only one willing to come out and give a full fledged defense of Kyle. Why? Team sports is the obvious answer. This is what this forum has devolved into. Everyone is afraid of being called a racist, even though there were no black people involved here outside of jumpkick man. It's beyond sad. Ten years ago on atheist forums, the majority shared my opinion on race. Trust me. It's true. Now, everyone is afraid to speak up or has left the forum because they don't fit in with the crew that thinks life is about nothing but race, all day and everyday. Kyle did nothing wrong. Get over yourselves. Pay the man that Nick Sandmann money. There should be miliions coming Kyle's way for the trauma he's had to endure and the mark on his name.

You said you were the only person here. That was false. And you appear also willing to slander me by claiming I was silent because I was afraid to stick up for Rittenhouse. That is false as well. As to whether tides have turned what once would have supported you, given the enormous amount of paranoid and invalid generalizations you are habitually given to make, while I don't know that this is false, it sounds suspiciously like yet another of your idiotic and unsupportable generalizations prompted by the alternate reality you apparently live in.

Just for the record, I've been here for a few months shy of 12 years and somehow, I can't remember the majority of users back then being the sort of people who'd post crypto-racist shit and post about loving a guy who thinks the Middle Passage is like flying coach.

If I drove to Kyle's house, broke in, and killed everyone, could I claim self defense?

So you're reprimanding me for not being able to read your mind about what you thought about the Rittenhouse situation? I was the only person who stood up for Kyle at first. Props to Online Biker for doing the same a short time later as well. I don't know what your opinion was, and obviously I can't know if you don't post it. All I remember was I was the only person saying Kyle did nothing wrong legally, and I was called a Nazi for it. The facts be damned. Like I just said, it's about team sports. Kyle was seen as anti-BLM, so none of the facts actually mattered. Period. That's how this forum operates. It wasn't like this ten years ago. It wasn't like this during the George Zimmerman trial. At least half of the atheist posters supported Zimmerman being let off back then on the atheist forum I was on. Nowadays, I'd probably be the only one defending Zimmerman. Times have changed, my friend. It's all about team sports now. Step out of line even a bit, and you're declared a nazi. That's why people won't speak up anymore like I do. They're scared. Self censorship was your goal, and you won.

Kyle had a right to be on that street as much as anyone else. You gonna blame a woman for walking down a dark alley she shouldn't have been walking down next?

Not really. He put Kyle in a fight for his life. Rape and death are both bad, so actually not that bad of a comparison.

You want it to be illegal for Kyle to walk down a street, if he doesn't support BLM? Is that what you're getting at? No? Then how can you not agree that Kyle is innocent?

No, I'm reprimanding you for claiming something that was false as well as being stupid enough to conclude that you were the only one based on you being the only one who opined in favor of Rittenhouse. That's shitty thinking. And that we're here, still debating whether or not it's shitty thinking, simply goes further to solidify your reputation as an illogical nutball with shit for brains. If you had claimed that you were the only person who opined in favor of Rittenhouse's acquittal, that would have been a different statement, and I still would have had legitimate complaints. Concluding anything based upon who chose to participate in a thread does nothing to support your belief that you were some special flower because you have no way of knowing if those who expressed their opinions were a good representation of all of us here or not. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. If you only count squeaky wheels, you're gonna end up underestimating the number of wheels. So that's another thinking error. Honestly, fallacies and cognitive biases run in and out of your thinking like trains at Grand Central Station. As to whether things have changed, I know that I have gotten more willing to give voice to unpopular opinions over the years, so your paranoid scenario doesn't ring true with me. Generalizations are built on evidence. Given that you appear to be a nutter with shitty thinking skills, I'm not willing to accept a generalization which appears based on nothing more than stories and talking points about the intimidation of the woke mob. Lacking any actual evidence, I suspect this is just you projecting your fantasies onto reality yet again.

Nope. You wish Kyle was murdered by that rapist because Kyle has political beliefs you disagree with, so you are the supporter of murder, and it's gross. End of story.
