Do you still think western anti tank weapons were a major factor?
Do you deny visually confirmed kills and captures, aka pictures taken of those occurrences?

Then why is the West bothering to send weapons if Ukraine can handle itself?

As a United States citizen, I watch as my government is spending (wasting?) tens of billions of dollars where such money is either not needed, or, in the end, will not be productive. I honestly do not know who or what to believe at this point??

Can you still not answer questions without counter questions?
Do you still think western anti tank weapons (your original claim) were a deciding factor?
Which confidence do you attribute to numbers based on visual confirmations (aka pics taken), as opposed to "i am a lay person and i have no clue, but my opinion is just as valid as anyone elses"?

Who said, Ukraine can handle itself? Excactly, nobody but you.

I tried to give you a hint as how to possibly gain information that is somewhat reliable (as least more than official communiques of participants). I am sure others could help you to make some sense out of the data. But look at what you did. You dismissed what i offered right away. If you are confused then its willfull confusion. Why? I dont know you near enough to make an educated guess.

My point is entirely a pragmatic one.  If defeat against a nuclear power is inevitable, why prolong human suffering??

Great

Wait? Now you've lost me with this one.

Are you saying that " 'X' Country has nukes. They will use them at  some point. Since said nuke use is inevatable... we should hence allow 'X' Country to... do what ever it deems fit."

Maybe?

Cheers.

I don't know. Why did Putin invade Ukraine? Answer: They (Ukraine) wanted to join NATO. If that happens someday, what's to prevent NATO from stationing nuclear weapons in Ukraine?? In the early 60s, President Kennedy threatened nuclear war over the Soviets trying to pull a similar trick in Cuba. Do you think that Kennedy was merely joking? Or, was he serious??

At present that seems to be true. Time will tell.

It doesn't matter how many times old vlad himself corrects that one, does it.  People continue to believe it.  Let's imagine a world in which it's even remotely true, though.  I guess that means russia gets to tell other countries whether they get to decide to join nato. IDK about you, but if russia was pulling a slow rolling invasion on me, I'd probably want in nato too.

Do you think that putin was only joking, or serious, the many times he explained that he's engaged in a war of territorial ambition?

You are following this, and your conclusion is exactly the opposite of what your site suggests? You truly lost me too now.
My point stands: For whatever reason you WANT Russia to (seemingly) win in the long run, you WANT it to be a threat, a threat that everyone else needs to bow to.
But why? Why and how does that serve your needs, whatever they are?
