A labor question

RE: A labor question
I mean it sounds like she knows what job's she's able to do while on worker's comp, without losing it. Not sure why anyone would care what she's doing unless it adversely effects them. If she's injured, she probably has doctor's bills to pay. Not to mention other bills, and given that Covid screwed over pretty much everyone. And then you have gas prices. In many places you're allowed to take other jobs while still collecting workers compensation, and usually doctors will tell you if a job you take will disqualify you or not. She might not be able to make it on Workers Comp alone.
"Tradition" is just a word people use to make themselves feel better about being an asshole.

There is the issue of insurance fraud. Not something to be taken lightly.

There's an aide who talks to anyone about it at work, and I wonder if what she's doing is legal. Not the talking part, silly.

She is on worker's comp at one facility while also working at another facility. Is that legal?

Just wondering.

It may be legal, but still against company policy.

From what I understand she's on work comp from one health care facility and now working at another health care facility. (fox- correct me if I'm wrong) That is definitely shady and stealing effects everyone. Can I come and steal from you?

BTW: workers comp pays for medical bills.

Gas prices, covid, other bills have nothing to do with stealing except for a bad justification.

WC also pays for lost wages...sometimes not 100% but at least partial.

What she's doing is unlawful in the state of California, near as I can tell. She'll get three hots and a cot, if she keeps it up. You can who the truly stupid are, when they brag about their crimes.

If this gets you upset, just wait until you hear about the --illegal-- union busting activities companies are doing to prevent unions! And how little they are punished for doing it (if at all) once caught!

Every person who screws the WC system hurts other employees. The prices go up and some employers can't afford it. The more fraud, the less employers have coverage.

I just paid our WC for March.

Thieves of every sort cause issues.

Way to move the goal posts when you can't support you original position. Great

So you don't mind stealing, good to know. Do you have a problem with people stealing from you or your kids?
