Roe v. Wade is gone.
RE: Roe v. Wade is gone.
Why is it always the woman who gets to suffer never the man?

He's got his opinion, it's just as valid as any other opinion. I don't agree with it at all, but he should be allowed to think that way.

My take on the abortion thing.....abortion should always be allowed, no exceptions. If it hasn't been born, it's eligible for abortion.

What a stupid thing to say.

Fair point. Maybe these two fascists should also sue for the right to flunk whoever got the woman pregnant.

Ahh... sorry, I misread the word "flunk"!

RE: Roe v. Wade is gone.
Quote:The Supreme Court ruled in a unanimous decision Thursday that a group of anti-abortion doctors does not have any legal basis to challenge access to mifepristone, one of the two common drugs used in medication abortion.

As a result, access to mifepristone won’t change.

The opinion, written by Justice Brett Kavanaugh, sided with the Biden administration and Danco, the manufacturer of the branded version of mifepristone. It reversed a lower court decision that would have made it more difficult to obtain the drug, which is used in about two-thirds of U.S. abortions.

The ruling didn’t address the underlying regulatory or safety issues the plaintiffs raised, instead deciding the case only on standing. The justices found the conservative doctors in the lawsuit did not show they had personally been harmed by the government’s actions regulating mifepristone.

^ I'd look to see who's getting money under the table from Danco. Too lazy, though. Yes, I'm getting more cynical as we go.

I doubt that’s going on, for a couple of reasons:

-If it was, it would mean all nine justices were on the take. Possible, but unlikely.

-Had the ruling gone the other way, Danco wouldn’t have been hurt. The meds would still be available, just not via the mail.

Dismissed from lack of standing doesn't have much significance -- it doesn't set precedent. Someone else adjudged to have standing could bring another suit, and this court could easily ban the mailing of this drug, or indeed ban it altogether.
