Trump mega fans don't believe a word of what the dear leader says or does. They just know he's their man. They'll go, as we've seen, from saying that everyone is a nut for believing the mad king would do a thing to claiming that the mad king was right and brilliant to do the thing without a wasted breath. When it's all over they'll blame someone else, anyone else, for the shitty consequences of having done the thing.
Take covid. It was nuts to suggest that derelict donny was going to kill a good number of us. Then it was right and proper to kill some number of us for herd immunity. Then it was uncle joes fault.
