Here's my solution. Enforce our immigration policies. Restore some semblance of order and control. If a wall is necessary, build one. It sure didn't take the government long to put a fence around the white house after Biden became president.

Contrary to conservative belief, most of the people coming across the border are not coming here for illegal purposes.

As for the drug cartels and simple drug runners....that damn wall isn't going to stop them.  They are doing illegal things, know they are doing illegal things, make money doing those illegal things, and a wall may slow them down but certainly isn't going to stop them.  The 'war' on drugs failed long ago.

But for those who think a falling down half-assed wall is going to fix stuff, I have superhero pictures of a super loser I can sell you.

That went up when trump gassed a bunch of people on his way to shake a bible, upside down, at a church.  

As for our border policies, we do enforce them, even when theyre a raging dumpster fire like the contents of your skull - that's part of the problem of our border - how it ended up a human rights crisis complete with concentration camps and kids in cages.  Why we had to go searching for lost children and return them to whomever might be their parents. If we could find anyone..not that theres a need - a three year old child could represent themselves in immigration proceedings. In fact, scotus very recently ruled that biden, as president...can't -stop- enforcing the traitor in chiefs executive orders.

Not talking about other countries, we’re talking about solving what you and your ilk think of as a problem.

And, for the record, travel between EU countries is virtually unrestricted - no border checks, no passports, etc. I realize that the US is more paranoid than EU member states, so you could do it in stages. Start with Mexico. Anyone who shows up at the border with something that proves they’re a Mexican national gets to live and work in the US. How hard is that?

How large of a population do you want to have in the US?  Do you want to allow any Mexican national to enter or just the ones who will work and pay taxes? How about those coming only to draw welfare?

-Any Mexican, but I think you’ll find more of them want to work than don’t.

-Give them the assistance they need until they don’t need it any more.

That’s not a valid question, since the UK is no longer part of the European Union. But within the EU, yes - someone from Spain could pack up and relocate to Finland just as easily as someone from California could move to New York.

I care how large a population we have. I also want immigration. It helps this country thrive - one of our strong points, but if you want to know the dangers of uncontrolled immigration ask a native American.
