What SCOTUS will soon decide is whether somebody can sue you for upvoting something on social media such as Reddit, right?

No. They will decide if Reddit can be sued over what they allow people to post. I’d be surprised if 230 were to be changed in any significant manner. The article you linked has people getting all fatootzed over a worst-case scenario.

Do you mean to say that employers value a diploma more than a good GitHub profile? Well, I don't know. Though, that would explain why I can't get an entry-level job, in spite of having a relatively good (as far as I understand those things, at least) GitHub profile. Or maybe my GitHub profile is not actually good, but I fail to see why.
