How are our Northern USians doing?

Along with watching the news, I have been seeing posts from back home (Eastern Iowa) about how bad the weather is.  When I saw they were cancelling Ash Wednesday masses at the Basilica, I knew things had to be bad.

northern? Parts of the greater LA region is under a blizzard watch, and in southern california, people lose body parts to frost bites if the temperature drops below 65

Doing fine. I haven't needed to go anywhere. The only issue is that I've had a viral infection for a couple of days. And I know where I got it. A disheveled guy wearing his mask around his neck got on the bus on Sunday and he was coughing and making odd jerking movements with his head. I should have moved away, but I didn't. I haven't tested for covid yet. I need to do that sometime today.

Well not in the US but am definitely to the north. Just getting through a snowstorm though it's at least mild in temperature resting at a balmy -5c or -10c with windchill. The kind of day best spent indoors. Smile
