My brain is telling me to go buy alcohol, but there isn't much of a point, I would be drinking alone and wouldn't have a good time anyway, but my brain just won't let it go.

You said that alcohol gives you a dulled perception (that's what 'dullard' means). I was simply asking if you can't get warmth and dulled perception drinking on your own. It doesn't seem like those two things require a drinking companion.

For whatever it's worth, I don't think you're a dullard when you're sober. You're a tremendous pain in the arse, but you're not a dullard.
