There is no inherent meaning in life. There are imperatives, eating, sleeping, fucking, shitting, not necessarily in that order, but no inherent meaning.

Life is imbued with meaning through our actions and what we hold to be important. If you want meaning in your life, go make some. None will appear on it's own.

For years the meaning in my life was trying to raise my kids to adulthood.

Now I just work and do things so my dogs/cat/parrots have a good life. Wink
