If you practice routine sanitation you don't get infections of the prepuce. I have never had such. But hey, I'm only 72.
Your position is based on one sample. Very weak.

Somebody mentioned procedures that would continue even if they were banned.
Circumsicion as practiced in the us is an outlier there. There’s no ban, but the practice has been dropping off in the population faster than babies are being born since no one recommends it and it’s no longer taken as a given.
It’s not as pernicious. One wonders what it would take to cause a similar fall in fgm.

Logical fallacy - Anecdotal evidence
"Your position is based on one sample." It's based on multiple actually, I only mentioned one though.
According to medlineplus.gov, a U.S government sanctioned website,
"What are the medical benefits of circumcision?
The possible medical benefits of circumcision include:
- A lower risk of HIV
- A slightly lower risk of other sexually transmitted diseases
- A slightly lower risk of urinary tract infections and penile cancer. However, these are both rare in all males.
What are the risks of circumcision?
The risks of circumcision include:
- A low risk of bleeding or infection
- Pain. AAP suggests that providers use pain medicines to reduce pain from circumcision."
There's a lot more benefits than risks to circumcision, I understand it started as an archaic and barbaric practice, but I see it as very beneficial for the most part.

I read somewhere that circumcision of male infants within Jewish communities was (and in some communities still is) performed by a Rabbi ... using his teeth. The source of my info was a book titled 'Jewish Marriage', written by a Jewish author, that I came across in a Jewish charity shop. The book also advised Jewish married couples who were having "problems in their marriage" to ask their doctor to prescribe an aphrodisiac.

No matter how it's done, I find it objectionable.

There's a lot more benefits than risks to circumcision, I understand it started as an archaic and barbaric practice, but I see it as very beneficial for the most part. You had only one "lower" but two "slightly lower" as "benefits". And ONE "low risk".
"There's a lot more benefits than risks to circumcision" which you didn't post. Ie. Bullshit.

Even then there's barely any reason that you would be against the idea of circumcision, at most you can call it genital mutilation
