Get any snow yet?

RE: Get any snow yet?
Cold rain here. If we get snow or one of our lovely ice storms they usually happen in December or February for some reason.

Last time it snowed here was when there was still debate about whether humans have actually managed to make it across the Bering straits to come and see it.

Kayaks. Two seaters probably, one kayak towing one or two other kayaks loaded with supplies or folks not strong enough to work a paddle. There are currently plenty of places to pull in for the night along way, should have been similar back then. One scout goes along the ice wall and returns to report that Seattle is a toddling little town. Or will be in thousands of years.

Male and female, two-by-two?

We topped out at 53F today, overnight low will be about 34F, no precip, I'm cool. Autumn didn't last too long, but it'll be back next week.

I think Autumn was two days...at least that's how many days I was able to open the windows.   Dodgy

I swear it gets shorter and shorter every year.

Social dynamics would be iffy to guess with no records available. Mirdean Anderson, my anthropology prof at Purdue, would say dead equal and leave it at that. (She also never wore shoes, regardless of the weather.) I prefer to think that the jobs would be parsed out by ability. Healthy teen female, not pregnant or nursing, would be one of the rowers. Nursing mom would get her litter and any other than needed someone to keep an eye on them. Just a SWAG, of course.

Low temp today is predicted to be 77F.

Last snow was probably some time closer to the last glacial maximum than today.

No.
It will be a while before Eastern San Diego County gets any snow.
The "rents" (my parent's ranch) are too close to the ocean to get snow.
