Dogma 25th Anniversary

Just wanted to say Happy Anniversary to Dogma today!
I just read that there is a new release of it coming out next year and Kevin Smith suggested possible future movie or TV projects based on the concept. Crazy to think that getting to the church on time could magically erase all your sins...
Would you watch any offshoots based on the film or do you feel it's a classic best left as is? Room for improvement in the story perhaps with 25 years to reflect on what has happened in the world since then? Hope Smith can do it justice!

So, Kevin Smith is finally out of ideas, then? Just as well a he’s a mediocre filmmaker at best.

Ah, the 90s, back when Kevin Smith meant something to people. Now I avoid his (new) movies like they are crappuccino.
IDK, I guess it didn't mean to me as much as it did to other people. It has these memorable gags, but the movie as a whole is kind of drab.

We’ll see. At least they got the rights back from the Weinsteins. Because, yes, they personally owned the rights to it and held out hope that they could get millions from it for years.
