Fight Club 1999 movie is pretentious violence
Its not even good exploitation of that. Give me "Dragon Ball Z" anyday.
Wow dudes likes to pointlessly fight. ( I mean some guys without hobbies who act depressed, because without hobbies you become this whiny slugfest on internet instead of being productive) But the guys who think selling depression is gonna get you anywhere in life. What fools.

But either case enough about my rant on the target audience who like this junk. But its exploitative in the wrong way. Same way rape in movies are also exploitative. not a fan.

But the case scenario of why this movie is horrendously awful is. It failed as a satire. At the time nobody understood it and thought it sucked (Well they were right). But they had to be explained that it is a satire. If you have to explain a movie being a satire, then its a bad satire.

But trash movie, hated it.

Here is my life advice

Entheogens should be restricted.

A Manchester United supporter dies on match day and arrives at the Pearly Gates in his Man Utd shirt. St. Peter is there wearing an Arsenal scarf and says, 'Sorry, mate, no Manchester fans allowed in Heaven.'

'But I'm a good man!'

'Really?' says Peter. 'What have you done, then?'

'Well, three weeks ago, I sent ten pounds to help feed starving children in Africa.'

'Hmm. What else?'

'Two weeks ago, I gave ten pounds to a homeless shelter.'

'Ok. Anything more?'

'Just last week, I gave ten pounds to Albanian orphans.'

'Alright,' says Peter. 'Wait here and I'll have a word with the guvnor.'

Peter comes back a few minutes later and says, 'I've told God your story and he agrees with me. Here's your thirty quid back, now fuck off.'

So satire only works if a 4-year-old can understand it. Got it.

And the fundamental thing about people not getting Fight Club and its reception: it’s been beloved since it came out. In fact, it’s been a constant presence on the IMDb Top 250 since about a month after its release and has never dipped below 43. Frankly, the problem isn’t that they didn’t get it, so they hated it. It’s that they loved it because they didn’t get it.

Written as a homoerotic sisterhood of the travelling pants for men, loosely based on the seattle cacaphony society. It isn't about depression.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I feel the same way about any bible based movies, they are made for a target audience that like fantasy junk.
