RE: 800K Galaxies
So, according to Ken Ham, God made them 6,000 years ago, along with the light between them and the Earth, so that we can admire them. Yet, he is not eager to build a giant telescope and look through it to see what God made for him to admire, as if he doesn't believe his own words.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Here's a neat thing if you want to play space explorer: the newly opened Vera Rubin Observatory is putting out its photos of galaxies as one giant photo in which you can zoom in and explore billions and billions of galaxies.

But sometimes it takes time as you zoom in. Mind you that they started to take first pictures yesterday and they immediately release them online.
