US Strikes on Iran (Operation Epic Fury)

Everything seems to have started this Saturday morning (local time). Few is known yet all we know is that Israeli + US aircrafts are hitting Iran and Iran is probably trying to hit US bases in neighboring countries (but without any success yet if I am correct).
 
The US President Donald Trump promises amnesty to those who accept to lay down their weapons and adds:
 

““When we are finished, take over your government. It will be yours to take. This will be, probably, your only chance for generations. For many years you have asked for America’s help, but you never got it. No president was willing to do what I am willing to do tonight. Now you have a president who is giving you what you want. So let’s see how you respond.””

Seems that Iran succeeded at least in one case:

Iranian forces say they have struck a US naval base in Bahrain, as Iran launched strikes across the region in retaliation for a "massive" and ongoing attack against it by the US and Israel.

Huge plumes of black smoke were seen rising from an area near the headquarters of the US Navy's Fifth Fleet in Manama, Bahrain. The extent of any damage is unclear and the US has not commented.

Also whatever bullshit trump spouted he lied. I mean it's quite simple to know when he lies - he open his vomit hole.

It’s funny that the leaders of the US and Israel are encouraging another country to ‘throw off the yoke of tyranny.’

It’s also rather amusing that Trump and Netanyahu started this war when the markets were closed.

How's your son healing up? My eldest son is in Japan and set to rotate back to the US in March. We'll see how that works. His return from some undisclosed location in the Middle East was delayed when Putin attacked Ukraine.

My son's arm is still in a cast, so he's not going anywhere. A brother battalion in his 2MEU has been in Syria since September, so I'm crossing my fingers for them. There's Hezbollah remnants they're still dealing with who might get rousted by their Iranian benefactors.
