Dutch ethicist leaves RC Church in protest
A professor and Christian ethicist from the Dutch city of Nijmegen, Jean Pierre Wils, is leaving the Roman Catholic Church in protest against the rehabilitation of four reactionary bishops by Pope Benedict XVI last week. Mr Wils says he no longer wants to be a part of what he called an anti-modern, anti-plural and totalitarian church.

One of the four bishops, Richard Williamson, said in a recent interview in Sweden that the Nazi gas chambers had never exist. He claimed only 300,000 Jews were killed in concentration camps during the Second World War, not 6 million.

Mr Wils delivered a lecture at the Radboud University in Nijmegen to mark Holocaust Memorial Day last Tuesday. Jewish survivors of the Holocaust also spoke at the lecture.

I read about this Williamson dude. Does he explain his holocaust denial with any sustainable evidence or maybe he just hates jews?
HuhA man is born to a virgin mother, lives, dies, comes alive again and then disappears into the clouds to become his Dad. How likely is that?

He is also a Kennedy assasination conspiracy supporter and 9/11 "truther" so I don't think much rationalization comes into play with Williamson. He claims his basis for the holocaust denial is the Leuchter report, which has been exposed as wrong as far back as 1990.
