Hello, new to these forums
August 2, 2011 at 1:55 am
I actually stumbled on these forums while doing research for a community I recently created. Went ahead and bookmarked the index and I'm glad I did - seems like a positive place to be. I've been part of various Atheist/Secular forums over the years and from the get-go they all seemed to have big problems with hostility and ego clashing left and right.
Anyhow, good to be here. Look forward to learning about you all.

Welcome, Veracity ^_^
Don't worry... I won't let the negative people get to you ^_^ Just ignore everyone but me and you can be as psychotically happy as I am!

This would be one of the better more tolerant forums I have known.

But tolerance goes more way than one. Unless you are a complete asshole: you are unlikely to be banned for any position of belief or absence of such.
And never forget to positively rep me, as I am the Silicoid Empress that spends her every waking moment defending your planet from Klackon scum.
Though... I suppose my defending it makes it my planet
Whatever... I don't care enough about it to do anything to its natives

Welcome! Be a fool and you'll be treated as one, otherwise this is the nicest place to be ^_^
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Anyhow, good to be here. Look forward to learning about you all. Be welcome, as I am the token pagan welcoming committee, from this corner I'm all you'll get here.
The folk here are affable and friendly, often opinionated, frequently riled, but rarely is there any blood spilt.
There are a few wingnuts here, but if you've been 'round the atheist forum block, you should have no trouble spotting them.
I hope you enjoy your time here. I have found this place to be quite enlightening, regardless of your particular view, if you allow it to be.

Because occationally I just might say something smart, that doesn't make me seem like a fool, right? Right?!
