Hello, new to these forums

I actually stumbled on these forums while doing research for a community I recently created. Went ahead and bookmarked the index and I'm glad I did - seems like a positive place to be. I've been part of various Atheist/Secular forums over the years and from the get-go they all seemed to have big problems with hostility and ego clashing left and right.

But tolerance goes more way than one. Unless you are a complete asshole: you are unlikely to be banned for any position of belief or absence of such.
And never forget to positively rep me, as I am the Silicoid Empress that spends her every waking moment defending your planet from Klackon scum.  Though... I suppose my defending it makes it my planet  Whatever... I don't care enough about it to do anything to its natives

The folk here are affable and friendly, often opinionated, frequently riled, but rarely is there any blood spilt. There are a few wingnuts here, but if you've been 'round the atheist forum block, you should have no trouble spotting them. I hope you enjoy your time here. I have found this place to be quite enlightening, regardless of your particular view, if you allow it to be.
