If I Was God

Tell me where it exactly says billions or 90% of all humans are going to hell. It says "many"; is many a lot or the majority?
And actually i see if your are right, that almost everybody goes to hell, then it follows with the story. The beginning starts with 2 people, they both fail, so there is a 0% chance. Then out of the first genealogy of the descendents of Adam, there is one man, Enoch, who walks with God. Then all are condemned except Noah and his family. And then Moses(one man) stands firm in God, while the others constantly doubt. And then Joshua and Caleb return from their scouting of the lands with others and they are the only ones that believe they can take the land.
So this pattern seems pretty fair or thousands of years ago a pretty smart dude made all this up just so i would see it.
All that deserve punishment, deserve punishment; Ill ask again, If you knew a criminal would continue to cause crime, would you release him to the public?

Why should he? Apparently he did. By cursing them for eternity, and every thing that came from them. Great role model. Next time my kids write on the walls I'm gonna put a curse on them, and my grandchildren, so on and so forth, ad fucking infinitum.

Take the list of things that earn one eternal torment. Take the number of christians (and assume that they all get into heaven regardless), then contrast that with the number of non-christians. You do realize that christianity is a comparatively new religion right? Homo Sapiens: 195,000 years. Christ Myth: @2,000 years. You keep responding as though we have no idea what the bar for eternal damnation is. It's in the black and white. What's the deal? Ignore the numbers if they make you feel sick to your stomach? We take that one step further, we ignore your entire religion.

Everything beyond this is a fairy tale CRod (as is everything above of course). God, Adam, Eve, Enoch, Noah, Moses, Joshua, Caleb, all characters in a fictional narrative. The pattern only exists in the narrative. The events only happened in the narrative. Your assessment of how the whole thing came together is also very naive. Religious tradition is created, maintained, and updated by many authors over many years. There isn't some lone storyteller that we can point to and say "Ah, here's the smart guy that made this whole thing up." Just not how it works. A single story, sure. Imagine if christianity were based entirely off the "begats". Wouldn't be much of a religion would it?

All that deserve bananas deserve bananas. See, I can do it too. Criminals don't "cause crime" they engage in it. Thankfully we don't live in a society where one person gets to be judge, jury, and executioner. We attempt to fit the punishment to the crime, and the convicted may always appeal. If you'd rather live in a different kind of society I'll help you pack your bags.

We can have a different kind of discussion if you provide any evidence for any of this btw. Then I wouldn't have to speak in the hypothetical.

Instead of:
"Your idea of a god is embarrassing to me, and should be abhorrent to you."

It would be something along the lines of:
"God is embarrassing to me, and should be abhorrent to you."

All I've heard from you thusfar is "I believe in god, and might makes right."
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. When a father goes to jail, how do the children fare? Your "justice" is satisfying ignorance towards the individuals affected.

“As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.” Daniel 12:13
Wait, what, hes not a christian. He was alive before Christianity and yet God tells him that he will "rest" and receive his "allotted inheritance". But wait i thought all non Christians go to to hell. Those ghost writers must updated that so it would look good. If something is to good to be true, it cant be true, right?

"Religious tradition is created, maintained, and updated by many authors over many years." Prove that it was changed via semantics and not just translated.
Assuming your god, If you knew a criminal would continue to engage in crime, would you release him to the public?

Its childish to say i didn't see you there so my wrong actions are your fault.

I have no idea what you're trying to say here. I'm not your god, I cannot read your mind. Please write in a manner that allows other members to at least understand the verbal diarrhea you are spewing out of your mouth.

Sorry, where does it say ( according to your math ) 95% of the human population is going to hell?

If you say, "For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it." Matthew 7:13, your an idiot.

If out of 100 billion, 20 billion are going to hell, i would say that is "many" but that is only 20%.

Also "many" appears here too, "Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked." Daniel 12:10

RE: If I Was God
CRod, the majority of people who have ever lived are not only non-christian, but in fact proclaimed the truth of other gods and made sacrifices to them. I know you think that judaism and by extension christianity were there from the beginning, but they weren't.

You keep asking me to assume that I was god, but I don't. This is one of the strengths of atheism. I can't help but be suspicious that you sometimes do.

Evidence?

I just want you to answer that question, you keep dodging it.

But you said only Christians would go to heaven. "Take the number of christians (and assume that they all get into heaven regardless), then contrast that with the number of non-christians." Are not jews non christians? That seems inconsistent.

I answered your question in my first response. I am not the judge, I am not the jury, I am not the executioner. You should not rely on me to be those things because I refuse to be them.

What would you like evidence for? Give me a bullet list of biblical claims that are important to you. I don't mind a shifting of the burden in your case, since you seem so sure that your religion is beyond reproach.

Humor me. If you were all those things what would you do?

No, i knew i was shifting the burden of proof by appealing to your accusations on my proof. It seems in the logical world being an atheist is like being one of God's children.

But I won't humor you, is this so hard to understand. I do not wish to be the thing that you are asking me to imagine being because to me it is the most horrible thing I could possibly imagine. If I knew that a criminal would continue committing crime, how the hell would I know? It's a meaningless question CRod that you have extrapolated to somehow have something to say about god, but it doesn't. It's an empty question. Name a crime and I'll look up a statute.
