The only "soul" I believe in is my own consciousness. It's not supernatural and it seizes to be exactly as I do. It doesn't pass on to any afterlife. It's just my mind and without a functioning body it does not exist anymore.

Ohhh no takers damn then I can't put forward my argument booooooooo.

I'm fking drunk, errrhm I had an argument somewhere but it was anti soul so doesn't really matter.

In fact I will say it tomorrow because it's a pretty cool perspective which you can comment on but yes it is soul negative.

Ok when I was watching that "Life beginnings" origin of life? whatever, I realised that factually humans are made up of no singular ...... nope not gonna work, I'll finish it undrunk, sorry for my behaviour.

I've heard it's been speculated that the soul or consciousness lives in the neural tubes of the brain. I don't believe it. The whole idea of souls comes from superstition, and there is no credible, conclusive evidence that we have souls. Instead of worrying about it, why not be contented with having a brain that lives at least as long as you do, and use it to leave a positive mark while you're alive. That's the only sure way to live on.

With 'soul' we're talking non material assignations for a person. Psychology = study of the soul (source). I'd agree that soul = "I" ...what constitutes a person.
