Soul - your views on it?
#31
RE: Soul - your views on it?
As a result of the discoveries that have been made in the field of neuroscience, there is no credible evidence to support a notion of immaterial "soul" which could surivie the death of the body. Rather it is highly probable that our consciousnesses are made up of the same perishable stuff as rest of our bodies.

I do not have a soul. That's about it Big Grin
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

You should've been a gymnast. IT is a waste of your talents Frodo.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Ah... I believe you are saying that the soul is another of those handy things that cant be proved or disproved because they exist in the supernatural realm. or something.

This is known as a self supporting delusion.

No evidence is needed to support the mad statement as the nature of the statement includes the reason why there can be no evidence.

I'm fking drunk, errrhm I had an argument somewhere but it was anti soul so doesn't really matter.

In fact I will say it tomorrow because it's a pretty cool perspective which you can comment on but yes it is soul negative.

Really? This shit again? Are you ever actually going to post your perspectives and proofs in any of your threads or are you just going to claim that you don't want the meanies to see it or that you are too drunk to function daily until people just get tired of even responding to the questions you pose? If you have an argument, just put it forward. You're not going to find "takers" for baiting here.
