I just saw an advanced screening of this movie, and it was great. In a very subtle way, it challenges the notion that a god can fix things. Instead, it focuses on the strength of the human condition. How we, without a god, by sheer willpower, can achieve awesome things.

Plus, Nick Nolte is BACK! And that is reason to celebrate.

Did you happen to see The Ledge, brother-mine? They did a Point of Inquiry podcast about it and I was wondering - since it's the 'first' openly atheist movie.
