the god substitute
Subsitute god in a song title.
As a start, I go for:-

What's god got to do with it? ( Tina Turner )
HuhA man is born to a virgin mother, lives, dies, comes alive again and then disappears into the clouds to become his Dad. How likely is that?

RE: the god substitute
Forgive me, God substitutions were lame

He who would valiant be 'gainst all disaster,
Let him in constancy follow a Master.
There's no discouragement shall make him once relent
His first avowed intent to be an Atheist.

Who so beset him round with cheerful stories
Do but themselves confound - his strength the more is.
No foes shall stay his might; though he with giants fight,
He will make good his right to be an Atheist.

Since science doth defend us on it's merit,
We know we in the end, may sense inherit.
Then falacies flee away! I'll fear not what men say,
I'll struggle night and day to be an Atheist.

I do like that particular song of theirs...
Like a few others some...

They actually used to be my favourite band years ago lol!
They were very creative and weird...some of their stuff was good...some...not so good lol...

And they were crap live...
I know some people who stopped liking their albums and songs so much when they heard them crap live...

I personally think - if they're crap live they're crap live - if they're not so crap on their albums then they're not so crap on their albums...
If they're terrible live but I like some of their stuff (at least vaguely...I haven't heard them in ages) on their albums...then how does the crappy live performance effect it?

If I like the sound on albums I like on albums. If I like live, I Like live.
Both is best of course...

I think Will.I.Am might be ok live...just not some of the others...
And DEFINTELY not fergie...the two or 3 times I seen her live on TV with peas anyway.

Anyway I either like so of their stuff vaguely...quite a bit - or not at all now. I haven't heard them in ages...
But like I said they used to be my favourite bad. Along with Jamiroquai - I like his stuff more off-and-on now.

Ok...anyway - here's another one: Cuddle Bunny vs the Celtic Gods.

(Cuddle Bunny vs the Celtic Villages, by Underworld)...

Yes I don't expect you to know them lol...I like anyway though lol.

Like the Black eyes Pea song how they 'keep it stinkin'' lol...

They Don't Want God (featuring James Brown) - Black Eyed Peas.

(normally They Don't Want Music)

I forgot the names of most of their songs because I'm not at all a fan anymore....

So I had to google it...I was looking for 'keep it stinkin'' to find out if its actually called that or if they just say it in the lyrics a lot lol....
