I adhere to organised religion absolutely, that never gives me leeway to misinterpret it so badly though.
Well look at the political (based on religious) struggles over it then my queen. The name is one point here. It seems particularly chosen to offend looking at it from a certain perspective. It can also be taken positively.

Chosen to offend whom? What is offensive about the named planned parenthood? It can't be more offensive than "Ham on Rye" can it?

I live right next to churches that protest it all the time.
Here's the problem though - I don't understand if you're arguing the name of the organization or the fact that they offer abortion at all. If it's just the name you're objecting to, because it has stigma attached to it, the stigma exists solely because of religion. Science even does not claim to tell a person when exactly "life" begins. And that is the problem of the religious, not the secular. The religious have no problem using those services regardless of the name when they have issues, so why do they continue to attach the stigma to it at all?

Why does the stigma only apply to the religious?? It's only science that informs us when exactly life begins. Philosophically we decide when to call that life a person, and for some a person exists from conception... no religious strings attached *waves hands above person to show there are no strings*
We've already dismissed bigotry. Of course poor people need the assistance with abortion regardless of their beliefs. Why shouldn't a person get to hold an opinion on this because of that??

Because secular people aren't standing outside of PP offices and abortion clinics with posters showing an aborted fetus. That's why only the religious.

The objections of those who appeal to the authority of fairy tales when asked to justify their prejudices mean exactly nothing to me. Planned Parenthood is only offensive when you attach your beliefs is it? Sounds to me like a problem with your religion, not Planned Parenthood.
