If you believe Josh Hamilton, "God" told him that he would hit a homer! Too bad "God" isn't telling world leaders how to live peacefully together. Or telling researchers how to find a cure for cancer. But then, I guess a baseball game is more important.

God also told George W. Bush and Pat Robertson (at various times as I recall) to run for president. While I applaud gods efforts in humiliating Pat I have issue with George W.. If he's going to tell people to run for a leadership position in any country he should stick with people who could use the humiliation or people who will not take the request seriously.

If what Josh Hamilton believes is true, then his deity is a retard. Instead of coming down and passing on something useful (a cure for paralysis; a way to prevent birth defects; a method for limitless, free energy, etc...) this all-knowing and powerful being wastes his time telling an athlete that he's about to hit a home run.
