I need to know:
How does it work? How big a fire will it extinguish? How many would you need for your house? .How soon does an unused one need to be replaced? How does it perform vs a more traditional extinguisher, and what is the cost comparison?
Not quite ready to order one just yet.
My apologies about useless link. Here's more informative website about SAT 119 - The answers to your questions are all in there.
http://www.bonex-asean.com/sat119.html
But the webiste didn't said anything about price comparison between traditional fire extinguishers and Sat 119.
But let's compare the prices between from these websites' Traditional fire extinguishers and SAT 119
Traditional Fire extinguishers price: [$20-70] depends on product you chose.
Sat 119 price: $79.79 plus taxes.
Advantages of traditional:
-More controllable discharges.
-Vary extinguishers for Class fire A, B, C, D, K
-Cheap [depends on the product]
Disadvantages of traditional
-limited flow of discharges
-explosion risk if penetrated tube/ over heated
-the chemicals like CO2 are dangerous.
Advantages of SAT 119
-Easy use for disables
-Big discharge per use
-Very effective against Class A fire
-Environment friendly
-chemical formulas harmless
Disadvantages of SAT 119
-Fragile
-One product per use
-Not cheap
I dunno if SAT 119 works against Class B, C, D, K fires [websites didn't say] but I wouldn't recommend SAT 119 without traditional fire extinguishers.
