Never really held with the idea of not speaking ill of the dead (respect 'n all that) though I'll tend to be silent out of respect for the loss others feel ... if he was anything like that in real life I can see why he might have courted trouble though getting killed for it is, er, extreme.

The moron killed the girl and then killed himself. I have not much of a problem with him taking his own life (excpet it being a waste of life), but taking the girl with him in his downfall is the thing that irks me the most.

I will support the bereaved if I'm close to them,but not otherwise. I have honesty never really understood public outpourings of grief at the death of a public figure.The hysteria which often follows the demise of some rock star, actor or celebrity leaves me gobsmacked...

It bothers me not at all that such an apparently hateful, ignorant and obnoxious human being killed himself. I agree it's a tragedy that the dopey prick took someone with him,and that is actions have visited a world of anguish upon two sets of parents from which they will probably never recover.

Nor I ... I've been saddened at the death's of some in famous walks (Ledger & Lennon amongst them) but not much more than that.

It's a sad fact of life that we are judged and judge others by behaviour. Generally people don't care if you were raped by a pack of rabid Christian Hell's Angels when you were 12. Behave like a crunt and you have an excellent chance of another person behaving like a crunt coming over all unnecessary and beating the crap out of you in one way or another.

Very sad that such a girl had to die because of him. Everything about it is tragic.

Feel sorry for the girl, must be horrible for her family and her friends.
