Having been in the Evangelical religion, that called itself both that and Christianity, I was raised mostly in the states of West Virginia, Virginia, and Kentucky through out my childhood, and in the more southern parts. I few distant from my religion when I had a small argument with my mom when I told her I saw 'nothing wrong' with Gay people and she said I was going to Hell with a heartbreaking sob story. (If that is not brainwashing usage, I don't know what is)
I started, in highschool, after that to question if the religion I grew up with was really all that loving, and asked mom questions about heaven that kind of scared me to say the least. I grew apart from Christianity and Evangelicalism by the time I was in 12th grade, mostly due to alot of Atheist Youtubers and the fact many of my founding bases of life were all 'sinful': Seeing nothing wrong with gays, not bringing up my religion around others not of my religion, or finding people telling my atheist friend he was going to hell to be wrong (Which apparently I am suppose to think and feel to opposite to remain a Christian.) Thus meaning, my whole life I had gone against god, so my fate was sealed, ignorance or not, in the eyes of God.
I took up other things, was Atheist for a while, but freaking, unexplained, none logic based shit always happens to me so I chose instead to be Agnostic. But never once do I believe in a God like being, the concept, even for all the stuff that has happened to me, could never make a being like a God be real or true. Too many flaws in an all powerful, all loving, and all knowing being to be true.
On another note, I study Horticulture, so I am a plant nerd if you have any questions about gardening or plants I'll answer what I can and try to help out with tips I've learned. I work at Walmart for now, which is just peachy but hey it pays well so can't complain much, plus it works with my schooling.
All around, I'm pretty simple, not argue much without a good cause, and most call me blunt but mature. |
