And before the christers here jump on 'abomination', I'd note that refers to idolatry. I'd also wonder why the Genesis Sodom stuff is trotted out by supposed recruiters for the faith when the Ezekiel passage just sows the seeds of doubt by not backing up the earlier version.

Please, I admonish the christer community, to PLEASE not lead with their bible 'edicts' that are not consistent throughout scripture, it is better to not confuse the recruits too soon in their conversions lest they realize they are being sold a load of baloney. Leave the fucked up conflicting stuff till AFTER they've tithed, not before.

Sheesh, this stuff should be fucking obvious, and it seems to always come down to me to help the christers do their work correctly. Can't god whisper in their ears all this religion 101 stuff ?? Or even better, the movement could send out representatives that can noodle out how best to do it on their own in the first place ??

What part of "homosexuals" don't you understand? The crowd wasn't interested in vagina, they wanted booty. As I said before, Lot's actions had nothing to do with being "holy", It was customary at the time to protect guests living under your roof.

But again, I like how you guys see Lot as the bad guy, and not the crowd of Homosexual rapist trying to break into his house in the first place.

Who's giving the rapists a pass? They're not the ones being used as the holy example, so they're not being discussed.

It makes no difference if the mob was gay or not. As a parent, your first and foremost duty is to protect your children at all costs. Huggy, you can't dodge the fact that the sins of Sodom are well-spelled-out in the Bible, and focusing only on the gay-rape scene (which Lot apparently thought his daughters would appease as a counter-offer, indicating whatever was happening was unlikely to be a crowd of full-time homosexuals, eh?), and try to claim that these are the days of Sodom because of some "homosexual agenda" to have their rights recognized and their sub-culture accepted more by the mainstream culture.
