Yeah, no shit. He's literally everything wrong with the obscenely wealthy written large in one package with all the worst parts of an orangutan and a wrestling heel. Except he's even worse than most of them because, while most billionaires at least make some effort to give back to the community (which may not actually mean much in the long run), but Trump doesn't really do that, with the possible exception of the Trump Foundation, but that barely even counts as a charity.
Also, just so we're clear, when I wrote that title, while I did have the popular connotations of the One Percent in mind, I was specifically talking about the fact that one year, according to recently leaked tax returns, his losses were so large they accounted for
one percent of the entire amount of business losses sustained in America that year. Yeah, he fucks up that bad.
It's kind of wordplay, but I'm not sure exactly what kind. An allusion, certainly, but that doesn't cover it. Possibly a pun.
