Apart from throwing rocks at Protestants, which I regarded as more of a social justice thing than a hobby, I collected old Empire coins in a rather desultory way and made penny whistles.

I briefly got into building model airplanes. The kind you buy at the toy store. I once assembled and painted an F14 Tomcat, only to be told they were never painted camouflage.

Weren't the ones sold to Iran given a 'Desert' paint job?
Or am I just remembering pictures of them mouldering away in neglect?
Cheers.

I collected comics and occasionally other things like rocks, teacups and Zodiac bling, and assembled plastic model kits.
A bit later on, in my teens, I started writing stories and poetry, did a few oil paintings, and taught myself a bit of guitar.

Actually it is far more likely they had nets that were mocked up to match the color of the desert to cover them.
But I was told by an adult at the time that the way I did that model wouldn't have happened that way.

I think I've only played the original D&D a couple of times. I've played Ad&D quite a bit more. A local professor, M.A.R. Barker, developed a game based on his Tékumel fictional universe, so we played a lot of that. And C&S, and Paranoia, and Morrow Project, and Star Trek, and Runequest....
Ah, good times.
