Gutted, another shite season ahead by the look of things.

Indeed. We can blame the players, but the manager has to take the blame. Sir Alex made the mediocre players believe in themselves and they performed better than expected. However, with the likes of Moyes, LVG and Mourinho, they don't know how to make an average team tick. Rooney is finished as a player and should look to be playing for another side. Paul Pogba, no matter how much he costs, should be doing a great deal better however, there is a big difference between Serie A and the Premier league. Same with Zlatan. He had it relatively easy in Ligue 1, but put him in a league against any average defender who closes him down really well, and he disappears. Herein, lies the difference between Ligue 1, Serie A and the Premier league.

Yeah, there are no easy games, they all need to up the work rate and start to be grateful that they are at the biggest club in the world.

Incredible that one player from our team costs as much as all your players and stadium put together and he does nothing. Bring back old whisky nose I say, at least he could get the best out of a really bad bunch.

Thanks a lot, y'all. Bit of an emotional tailspin, as you saw, but I'm flying straight and level again. A timely call from a dear friend who understands my recovery issues from her own experience really helped, too. Thank y'all, and thanks, Bets. Smile

Thankful for good 'ole boys. Came home from work, got out of my car and just stood there staring at a BIG, slithery snake right outside the front door of my house.
Neighbor hollered, "Snake, ain't it?"

"Yeah."

He came right over with a shovel, said "Dang, that's a long fella there." In a flash, he smashed that bitch in the head with the flat end, twirled the shovel upright, and let it drop smack dab in the middle of the snake's body. Hacked that thing right in half.
"Yup. Knew it was a snake when I seen you standin' still like that."

"Thanks a lot, man. I, uh... usually get 'em with a water gun. I was a little worried that might've just pissed that one off, though. Might've plotted some revenge or something."

He gave me a strange look and said "Nah...don't do that. Next time you see one, just holler."
Then he picked up the snake halves, and headed back towards his house.

Big Grin
