A bit better on the metabolism front. But I still just don't even want to go out and do anything. Not in a bad mood. Just liking it here in my condo.

Thanks all, I feel a little better.
I just saw a lot of people being cruel to each other, not even to me, and it depresses me more than I can say. I don't mean to become despondent, I'm fighting my way out of it right now, going to go cook something from scratch, that sometimes helps me. And some music. And time spent with my kid, she will. help me cook.

Popped my knee at the weekend so currently in a leg splint waiting for an appointment for an MRI so they can tell how much I've fucked up my tendons. Not being able to drive sucks.

I know just what you mean. It breaks my heart. It's hard not to let it affect us. The only mantra I have which sometimes works is that I need to remain strong for those I have a chance of helping, and I can't do that if my strength gets sapped away by things I can't change.
