Haha, I've fallen into clouds of jellyfish(blubbers).
Incidentally, I used to work with Dr Peter Fenner and his wife Maggie, he is one of the world's leading experts on jellyfish stings.
He was also my instructor when I was a nipper(junior life saver).

As for stingrays, I've seen ocean floors completely covered in Vanuatu whilst snorkling and I've patted and feed them (even had my fingers in their mouths) in Singapore and the Gold Coast, Australia.
They really can be quite friendly. Freaked my poor daughter out though. :-)
