Christian hell might be bad but everyone gets out on Judgment Day. And just because a person was in Christian hell it won't prevent him from getting into the gaudy bejeweled golden cube called New Jerusalem, but only if he's a Jew since there's no entrance for Gentiles. The Christian hell borrowed a lot from the Zoroastrian hell.
But, keeping with the premise that all of this happens to be true....good grief, we're all screwed aren't we? As in all of humanity. A completely unreasonable, highly sadistic maniac is running the show. He's not made himself very clear....and he likes setting people up. That combination doesn't bode well for any of of us, does it? Can worship really tip the scales? Why bother?
In Christianity if you don't go to hell then you end up in the sea or in death. But they are all temporary. After Judgment Day there will be no more death, seas, or hell. But you can end up in the lake of fire. Personally I think the lake of fire is better than being tossed into the Islamic hell. It's really nasty there with all kinds of eternal tortures.
It seems that most people mix up all of the hells and actually think of the Islamic hell when discussing the topic of hell. You don't make bail in the Islamic hell.
