Could be he prayed for you before you took the medicine and after you took it. Doctors who are realistic know they have no real control over your health, they understand they can only aid in your recovery, thank God for those doctors who care to help.

Yeah, he could have talked to himself before and after the visit. And it had absolutely NO effect on fighting the illness..
Helping in the recovery is far more effective than mumbling to yourself and hoping it helps. Oh, and, from experience, I can tell you that removing and/or replacing diseased organs is far more than only helping with recovery.
Thank the doctors for the years of dedication and training they've put in to help people.
