Yet I never once defined atheism. So how on earth can you say I do not understand what atheism is?

You did, however, state that I was a heretic and a blasphemer for not buying into your love of philosophy. You are clearly showing how you think philosophy is a requirement of atheism, which it is not. It's wonderful if you take it to that level, but that's going far beyond what atheism calls for. Good luck with your philosophical ramblings, but it's not necessary.

Obviously you should know that atheism is not a religion and henceforth there is no such thing as heresy. I never said philosophy is necessary for atheism, I never said this in any shape or form. I merely said philosophy is what creates many atheists and a quick look at history shows this. Skeptics like Plato, Pythagoras, al-Ma'arri, Muhammad al-Razi, and Nietzsche are all products of philosophy. That is all that I am saying, I never insinuated anything else other than a historical analysis. 

I am going to ignore your insults because obviously you read something into what I said that was never there. Can we not call this a truce and learn to get along please? I do not wish to start a fight with somebody because they misread a joke.
