I wear a mask at work administering care to others and when in close proximity to friends, family members or strangers who are or may be high risk.
But no, I do not don a mask the moment I exit my front door, while driving in my car, while simply walking outside, or shopping by my lonesome in an uncrowded store.
Quote:I don't do virtue signaling, and it's not my job to validate others' fear and hysteria by depriving myself of unencumbered breathing and fresh air every minute I'm outside my home. That is unreasonable, as far I'm concerned. I won't do it.It's neither virtue signalling or advocating other peoples hysteria . And the mask has freaking impact on breathing fresh air . There is nothing unreasonable about it your simply a Karen .
Quote:If I have a cough, cold or flu-like symptoms I'll happily wear a mask while out and about, no problem--or better yet, IMO, stay home. This isn't cold or flu and comparing it to either is stupid . Or you can quit a baby and just wear a freaking mask .
Quote:@AegonI other your a selfish asshole who objects to masks and protecting the vulnerable from a pandemic for stupid reason and expect the vulnerable to make up for your Karen behaviour.
Rather than expect that everyone (including all WELL people) must "protect" you from the viruses of this world by forfeiting their right to breath to breath normally and identify each other, you should probably just continue to adhere to social distancing guidelines and perhaps consider wearing a fitted N95 mask (without the valve). It keeping viruses from going either direction and is quite effective in protecting the wearer.
