I can assure all of you ... it was a one-day thing. It was meant to have fun and let everybody cut loose of the rules for one day.

It's like having your father tell you when you were in grade school that you could say any 4-letter word all day long and not get in trouble. It doesn't mean that anything has changed any other day of the year.

How many of you told One King to shit god out of his ass and to go stroke Jesus. That's against the rules, and we didn't care because we suspended the rules for a day where they concerned our socks. The sock puppets had to be created in advance to create believability.

If any of you were truly offended by One King than I sincerely apologize, but I can tell you this for sure ... neither I nor any other staff member had any malicious intent when the idea was dreamed up. No one here is trying to trick anyone or play anyone for a fool.

Many of you are esteemed members who understand what I'm saying and a small handful of you are being very dramatic about a silly prank.
