Your conception of 'god' is a figment of your imagination. You are trying to peddle it to people who have already rejected it outright.
But you arn't guarding it so your brains dont fall out, your on full lockdown it seems.

I had an open mind to Christianity and its god once for a few years, but after knowing what I know now belief for me is impossible. In fact I find all religions, especially Christianity as an insult to anyones intelligence and am astounded that it continues to thrive. The fact that it is still prevalent in our modern day and age just goes to show that there will always be those that are more than willing to commit intellectual suicide and let go and let god.
Does that not prove that we are faulty humans who get it wrong? What is it that makes your current atheism something to hold on to so strongly more than theism? If you were once a christian you once thought you were right about that, so why is it you think your belief in atheism stands on just soild ground when you think you have got it wrong before?

Tiberius: I disagree that all theistic arguements can be dismissed and i think theres better reason to believe in God than super aliens.
Without using the bible; why?
For practical purposes. If it seems as if the Christian God is real based on my life experiences of Him, then it is more practical to believe in Him than to think its some crazy alien having a laugh. I think this is where pascals wager has some force to it. Pascals wager obviously doesn't convert atheists, but what it does do is give a reason to have faith in the option which is mostly likely to give a good outcome to you.
