I'm on a long journey to lose about 45 pounds that I never should have gained. Did WC track and road racing as a teen, throughout southern California and beyond. But I dropped it at 18 or so, thinking I'd just carve my own path in life. And I did. But it involved food. And I didn't notice until I was confronted by family at 250 lbs, while 188 was my healthy weight.
I still have a mad crush on good food. I'd marry it if I could. But I do do 2 1h15m classes per week at SDSU of stretching and weights and such. But I'll be seeing a nutritionist soon, probably in a group setting. Food is for sustainence first. It's a bonus to enjoy it. I've been eating the icing, not the cake, so to speak.
