Tyson wasn't comparing Halley's prophecy with "any other method". He was comparing it to religious prophecy.
I have made all my points. If you don't want to believe this television show doesn't have any anti-religious undertones....have at it. I'm done talking about religious undertones in Cosmos unless someone really makes a compelling counter point.
