I've noticed it's quite another way around. This mainly applies to mainstream abrahamic religions and their denominations but also remains correct for other ways of mythical thinking. In general religious people are more prone to becoming frustrated than mildly-religious and atheists. For example religious people tend to be very superstitious (never admitting this fact themselves though as abrahamic faiths generally prohibit superstition). They believe in prophecies, see 'signs', divine and demonic activity and build up lots of other fictitious correlations. Such beliefs are commonly associated with all sorts of eschatological fears and fears of divine punishment so all aformentioned factors result in frustration. More commonly than not this frustration ends up being expressed all over their surroundings in a way of preachy talking, moralization and divine threats and scares.
