NoGodaloud, what is it that scares you so much about the theory of evolution that you need to lash out to it so badly?
As some have said before, there are plenty of scientists who are also Christians (and Muslims, and Hindu, and Buddhists) that don't lose their faith and accept the Theory of Evolution as the best explanation we have for the diversity of life. They have done what they always have done, examine the evidence and accept the results of decades of research.
Now if you truly want to look at the evidence for the Theory of Evolution, I'd suggest reading a book like Prothero's "Evolution, what the fossils say and why it matters", or "The greatest show on Earth" by Richard Dawkins. Most that know me here in this forum know I'm not a huge fan of Dawkins as a philosopher but as a biologist he has my utmost respect.
I'm not trying to change your mind here, all I'm asking is that you at least look at the very thing you are fighting so hard against first. That way if you do reject the ToE, you at least have a basis on your own, and are not just Ken Ham's puppet.
