So we can have a "loving" relationship with Him. I'm afraid you have missed what God desires for us, if you were to lay aside your hatred for the OT and with an open mind read the NT I believe you could see God's desire for us.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
