It's partly because I am very tolerant indeed, yes that's true. But I don't see it as being tolerant, because I don't find them or their beliefs to be something to tolerate. I simply don't have a problem with it all. And it's partly because I don't tend to come across theists who also happen to be irritating. And it's also a question of give and take, and keeping an open mind when it comes to understanding where others are coming from. I try not to be judgmental and that's the key. People respond well to that. We all have a desire to be understood and when you grant that, you get positive results. For me it's about communication. Thanks for the welcome. I hope you understand.
Tell us all about your atheism, what it means to you, how you became atheist.
Rather than going on all day about tolerating theism (and fuck all else) and pigeonholing various atheists into different theist hating holes.
Your entire existence appears to be to tell everybody how un-threatened you are by all these good theists, how you never think about it at all - yet all you do is talk about it. This has raised big red flags for me since you joined - as you well know.
Why are you atheist? Say it...
Say you do not believe that there is a god because there is absolutely no evidence to support his existence.
Say that you think that theistic beliefs are unfounded and that theists are very likely wrong and deluded. Say it.
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.
