What I mean by that, is that since believers are promised paradise, many believers can be gullible people. It cannot be argued that every single believer has not believed out of gullibility.
But then if gullibility can lead to belief, then why is belief always praised?
Because logic is evil and corrupts the mind. D:
And blind faith is rewarded.
Most likely a tribal things started at the dawn of human evolution.
'If you want food, you must pray to rock god.
If you no pray, you no get food.'
Well, obviously food is good and everyone wants food. But not everyone wants to worship rock god. Those who don't worship rock god get seperated from the rest of the tribe and are talked down upon and exiled. Therefore, social conditioning is made. Fit in or die.
This is all theortetical on my part to try and make sense of it. haha
Actually, spongebob's magic conch episode really helps put things into perspective.
